From the Track to Everyday Life: Why the Evelyn Runner Means So Much to Me

From the Track to Everyday Life: Why the Evelyn Runner Means So Much to Me

Check out the new styles now!

At Saysh, everything we create comes from a deeply personal place. That’s why I’m so proud to share that we’ve just launched four new colorways of the Evelyn Runner - a shoe that’s become a part of my everyday life and the lives of so many women.

These new colors - Thompson’s Point in off-white and mint green, Duck Fat with bold orange and blue tones, Abbott Kinney blending soft blue and pink, and Vail, our fresh all-white are all inspired by places and moments that carry meaning. But more than that, they’re about celebrating the women who wear them. Women who are moving, building, caring, running, resting—doing it all.

To me, the Evelyn isn’t just a sneaker. It’s our way of saying: We see you. We built this for you. It reflects our commitment to honoring women with thoughtful design that’s powered by performance. We didn’t set out to chase trends—we set out to create something that makes women feel strong, supported, and seen in every moment of their lives.

Honestly? The Evelyn is my go-to. I wear it when I’m running from meetings to preschool pickup, when I’m on set, or even when I just need a walk to clear my head. We designed it for real life - and for real women who are constantly navigating so much. These new colors are a celebration of that resilience.

The journey to get here hasn’t always been easy. In 2019, after my public split with Nike over their treatment of pregnant athletes, I knew it was time to do something different. So my brother Wes and I created Saysh - a brand built by women, for women. A brand rooted in community and care.

Since launching in 2021, we’ve introduced the Saysh One, the Two, the Felix Runner, and now the Evelyn. Each one has marked a chapter in my life. The Saysh One was about taking that first brave step. The Felix Runner reminded me that I could still compete and thrive after becoming a mother. And the Evelyn? It’s taught me that comfort and support aren't luxuries - they’re essentials.

This past year has been full of meaningful moments. I helped launch the first-ever Olympic Village nursery for athlete moms. I was elected to the IOC Athletes’ Commission to advocate for athletes from a place of lived experience. And now, with Saysh expanding into Dick’s Sporting Goods and House of Sport locations, we’re showing up in more spaces where women live and move.

And we’re not slowing down. We’re preparing to launch a new performance product later this year - something I’m incredibly excited about. While I can’t share all the details yet, I can tell you it continues our mission of prioritizing women’s comfort and athletic performance.

In a time where the world can feel heavy, we’re holding onto our core values: perseverance, strength, and unity. These aren’t just buzzwords - they’re a way of life for us, and for the women who inspire everything we do.

So whether you’re training, parenting, leading, healing - or all of the above - I invite you to explore the new Evelyn Runner Collection and find the color that speaks to you.

We made these for you, and we can’t wait to see where you take them.
