Product Care

Cleaning

  • Remove the insoles and laces before cleaning, and keep them together. Insoles aren't sold separately.
  • Mix a small amount of mild soap (dish soap works) with cool water.
  • Use a soft-bristle brush on the upper and a damp microfiber cloth on the midsole.
  • Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Never submerge or machine-wash.
  • Air dry only. Stuff with newspaper or a shoe tree to hold the shape. Never use a dryer, direct heat or direct sunlight, because heat breaks down the foam and adhesive.

Making your shoes last

  • If you run 4 or more days a week, rotate between two pairs. Foam needs about 24 hours to fully rebound.
  • Untie your laces every time you take your shoes off. Kicking them off crushes the heel.
  • Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

When to replace your running shoes

Most runners get 300–500 miles out of a pair. It's time when you see wrinkling in the midsole or worn tread, or you notice new aches in your knees, hips or shins after runs.
